Global Education and Travel
For this week's assignment, I want you to compare and contrast two different cultures' education paying close attention to their emphasis on travel. It is ok for one of these cultures to be your native country.
To properly examine this issue, you will need to find scholarly evidence to support your thoughts. Mission statements from prestigious schools and universities are great references, and so are journal articles that have published research in this area. Wikipedia is not an acceptable source. Make sure to properly quote your sources and not plagiarize them. "Paraphrasing" is putting what others say into your own words and is a great way to avoid plagiarism.

At the end of your essay, please list all sources used (format is not important for this paper, just a list). Concepts in this topic can include, but are not limited to: gap year, study abroad programs, travel scholarships, foreign languages, cultural tolerance, etc.
This final essay is due on Monday, February 9th @ 8:30am.
