Narrative Writing:

"Narrative" - a story or an account of something that has happened

"Inanimate" - not having consciousness or life

1. Pick an inanimate object. (example: zucchini, piece of wood..etc.)

2. Imagine that your inanimate object came to life!

3. Write a narrative (can be funny, silly, scary, sad, whatever you want) about an adventure your object will partake in. (example: Zeke the Zucchini is leaving the garden to find his friend Sammy the Squash. Crazy and dangerous events await him at every corner...)

4. 4-6 paragraphs, have fun with it. length is not important, but you need to have a fully developed story.

*Pay attention to the tenses you use.*
